MOPI Launches On-line Pain Directory – Find Help
Here
Need help finding someone who can
assess and treat your pain? The Missouri Pain Initiative has
launched an on-line directory containing a list of pain
professionals who currently provide pain management services to
Missourians. You can search the directory by pain professional
specialty, type of pain
condition, pain professional name, or geographic area. To access
the directory click
here. NOTE: This is a voluntary listing
and not all inclusive. It is our hope that as more pain professionals
become aware of the opportunity to be listing in the directory, more
will add their
information.

Power Over Pain Action Network
The Missouri Pain Initiative is an active supporter or the American Pain Foundation’s Power Over Pain Campaign (POP), a national network of people working to eliminate the undertreatment of pain through action-oriented public awareness, education, and pain policy improvement activities in their communities and states. We have organized a Power Over Pain speaker’s bureau of trained volunteers available to present to state and local organizations, libraries, or community groups at no charge. The presentations help people with pain and their caregivers better understand their pain, ways to describe it to healthcare professionals, ways to treat it, and how to find help. To get information on how to request a talk in your community, please contact us.
Join the American Pain Foundation’s Power Over Pain Action Network and keep up-to-date on pain happenings, POP news and information, and action alerts about pending pain policy and legislation.
