Support Us

Thank you for your interest in supporting the Missouri Pain Initiative in our efforts to improve the lives of the one in four Missourians who are in pain on any given day. Many of our members are full-time health care professionals, specializing in diagnosing and treating pain, who are volunteering their time to work together to educate health care providers, policy makers, and pain sufferers about effective diagnosis and treatment of pain. Your generosity will enable us to continue our efforts to ease the pain and suffering of our fellow Missourians.

You can donate a gift on your own behalf or in honor or in memory of someone whose life has been touched by pain.

Print off and complete the donation/gifting form and mail it along with a check or money order payable to: Missouri Pain Initiative, 225 SE Sumpter Drive, Lee’s Summit, MO 64063

American Pain Foundation Launches Fibromyalgia Awareness Pilot Project in Missouri
To raise awareness about fibromyalgia (FM), an often misdiagnosed, musculoskeletal pain condition that affects up to six million Americans, the American Pain Foundation (APF) is piloting a Is Fibro the Cause? awareness project in Missouri. They are working with community and statebased alliance groups and fibro advocates to disseminate our new Is Fibro the Cause? toolkit. Not only does this toolkit include helpful tips and resources on how to recognize fibromyalgia’s signs and symptoms, but also provides a worksheet to help track symptoms and facilitate communication with your health care provider.
Find out how to get a free toolkit.
