Pediatric Pain - the website for the International Center for the Control of Pain in Children and Adults.  Great website for kids with colorful, basic explanations, etc.

Promise Initiative - hosted by Endo Pharmaceuticals this site provides information on ensuring the appropriate use of opioid analgesics

RSDSA - Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy Syndrome Association.  Information for professionals, patients, and caregivers.  Available in numerous languages

Stop Pain.org - this is the website of the Beth Israel Medical Center, mostly for professionals but one good section for caregivers of those in pain

VPF - the website of the Vulvar Pain Foundation.  Information for patients, caregivers, and limited info for professionals

American Pain Foundation Launches Fibromyalgia Awareness Pilot Project in Missouri
To raise awareness about fibromyalgia (FM), an often misdiagnosed, musculoskeletal pain condition that affects up to six million Americans, the American Pain Foundation (APF) is piloting a Is Fibro the Cause? awareness project in Missouri. They are working with community and statebased alliance groups and fibro advocates to disseminate our new Is Fibro the Cause? toolkit. Not only does this toolkit include helpful tips and resources on how to recognize fibromyalgia’s signs and symptoms, but also provides a worksheet to help track symptoms and facilitate communication with your health care provider.
