Advocacy
The Missouri Pain Initiative is a state
partner in the American Pain Foundation’s (APF) Power Over Pain Action Network.
The goal is to create a massive consumer voice to improve pain
management. This will be accomplished through the use of APF’s
online advocacy system and nationwide network development of
organizations including the Missouri Pain Initiative.
You can become part of the voice for
change by joining APF’s
online advocacy system. The system will be used to quickly
send broadcast “alerts” to you with critical information
and education on current pain issues. The “call to action” and
online advocacy response system provides a quick and accessible
way for advocates like you to share your concerns and target
your individual message to important decision makers, the media
and the public. The “alerts,” “calls to action” and
response system unites and empowers the voice of people affected
by pain, to be agents for change.
To join, click

rerouted to the APF’s
online Advocacy Center to complete the secure on-line registration
